In most cases no — garden rooms usually fall under permitted development provided they are single-storey, sit within height limits and don’t cover more than half the garden. We assess your plot and confirm this in writing, and handle any application on the rare occasion one is needed.
Yes — that is the whole point. Our rooms are fully insulated in the floor, walls and roof and fitted with efficient heating, so they stay warm in winter and cool in summer. They are a world apart from a glorified summerhouse.
Every room comes fully wired with sockets, lighting and data, certified by a registered electrician and connected back to your home supply. You can plug in and start using it the day we hand over.
