Porcelain is the lowest-maintenance, most colour-stable option and never needs sealing — ideal for a crisp, modern look. Natural stone has more character and warmth and develops a lovely patina over time. We bring physical samples to your home so you can see both in your own light before deciding.
Porcelain never needs sealing. Natural sandstone and limestone benefit from an impregnating sealer to resist staining and algae — we can apply this on completion and tell you when to re-coat (typically every 2–3 years).
Yes. A flush internal-to-external threshold is one of the most-requested details for bi-fold and sliding doors. We set levels carefully and use a recessed channel drain at the threshold so you get that seamless inside-outside flow without compromising drainage.
